Questions that cross your mind when you take the road less travelled
.
When you are actually “doing” these things that make you truly uncomfortable a hundred thoughts would cross your mind. Here I have listed two questions that you will always ask yourself during your uncomfortable yet promisingly worth-it journey:
Why am I doing this?
.
Here, a word can be used to describe your life situation. Marathon runners have a term called “THE WALL” it is used to describe that moment when you are both physically and mentally defeated, when you start asking yourself this question, “why did I put myself through this in the first place?”
At this point, if the reason is strong enough in your own head, you will decide to move forward.
What if I fail?
When you have decided to move forward, the next thing that will cross your mind is the fear of failure. Since, you are doing something that you haven’t tried before you can’t make the slightest prediction on the outcome of your journey. The uncertain nature combined with evil forces of societal or peer pressure, makes you take notice of this question “what if you fail?”
.
The learning is what you should take away from your journey irrespective of the result.
So, take that learning and move forward to another uncomfortable journey where you can apply the learning of the previous journey.
