The Story

Shalini founded Talent Mappers, a boutique Recruitment & Executive search firm. As the business started growing, she realized the bottlenecks that were being created by running the process manually which had a knock-on effect on workforce efficiency and thus on the business. Alok, on the other hand, co-founded Matrix Energy – a tech company & started his journey as an entrepreneur, faced hiring challenges in finding the right talent at the right time and cost. When they discussed the problem statement, they realized that there is a need for a solution that can address end to end hiring challenges faced by Recruiting & Staffing Organizations and Corporates along with creating an eco-system which helps them mutually collaborate. They knew that recruitment is a business problem and not just a HR problem. They believed there is a need for a platform that can address the pain areas of each stakeholder in the hiring process to help organizations hire right & faster. As founders when they started this journey, the idea was also to run a business which will generate employment opportunities, create wealth and value for the employees & stakeholders. They as first-generation entrepreneurs are passionate about building & scaling businesses and to contribute to society and nation building. In later part of TalentRecruit’s journey, Himadri Majumder, who is alumni from IITK and has 22 + years’ experience including 10 + years building massively scalable SaaS platform from scratch, joined this journey as CTO & Co-founder, believing in TalentRecruit’s vision & ability to scale to global level as he was keen to start his own entrepreneurship journey and to join founding team of a potential fast growing start-up.
