What is TEC

The Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) is the technical arm of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). It is responsible for the formulation of standards, specifications, testing, certification, and technical regulations for telecom and ICT (Information & Communication Technology) equipment in India.
