The Story

Born into a middle-class family in Kozhikode, being from an orthodox background, Shalima got married at an early age, worked in the Middle East, and had extensive experience in both the corporate and education sectors. While working at Oxford, Shalima observed the pervasive hair issues faced by many individuals, particularly those in the Middle East who heavily relied on chemical-laden hair products. Having grown up in a small town in Kerala, India, I was aware of the benefits of natural ingredients for hair care. Throughout my time abroad, I carried my trusted natural hair care remedies with me, resulting in healthy and resilient hair. The desire to share this knowledge and offer natural hair care solutions to others became my driving force. I founded Cocoroots Organic, where I combine my passion for natural hair care with a mission to provide effective solutions for diverse hair care needs. In our organization, we have 90% women employees and thereby we try to make them financially independent.
