 
Launched on January 16th, 2016, Startup India represents a forward-thinking endeavour spearheaded by the Hon'ble Prime Minister, aiming to stimulate entrepreneurship and provide crucial assistance to burgeoning startups. Central to this initiative is the facilitation of market entry for startups on both domestic and international fronts.

                                            The Startup20 group aimed to formulate key recommendations for G20 Leaders via consultation. Its culmination gathering drew 200+ delegates from 25 nations, including 18 G20 members and 6 invitee countries, showcasing 50+ international startups. 200 Indian delegates joined, showcasing the nation's startup prowess. Global Startup Agencies, International Organizations, and key Industry Players also contributed, fostering a shared vision for a prosperous global startup ecosystem. Amidst collaboration, the call for "Janbhagidari" or Public Participation emerged as pivotal, nurturing a harmonious vision of collective endeavor.
 
                                            Startup India, DPIIT organised the first ever physical Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Startup Forum 2023 that witnessed participation from India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan. The Hon’ble Minister of State for Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Commerce & Industry delivered the keynote address and Joint Secretary, DPIIT, highlighted India’s Startup growth journey. The delegates also attended workshop on ‘Role of Bilateral and Multilateral Engagement in Developing Startup Ecosystem, followed by incubator visit at IIT Delhi.
 
                                            The India-Finland Startup Connect program was conducted in April 2023 in collaboration with the Embassy of India, Finland. The program was a call to action for the Startups of both countries to discuss best practices and highlight the cutting edge technologies adopted in the green transition by them. The event had participation from the Ambassador of India to Finland, Startup India, Embassy of Finland in India, and Business Finland, among others.
 
                                            India-Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Startup Bridge was launched on the sidelines of the G20 summit in New Delhi. The bridge was launched in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry and his counterpart Minister of Investment, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the India-Saudi Investment Forum in New Delhi. The bridge will foster future innovation collaborations between the two countries in the years to come.
 
                                            The Bangladesh Mentorship and Exposure program was conducted with an aim at connecting entrepreneurs from Bangladesh to Indian experts and industry players. The 3-day program hosted startups from Bangladesh and provided them with the opportunity to network, interact and have access to mentorship & market knowledge. The first two days focused on mentorship of the Bangladeshi entrepreneurs through masterclasses: and the third day focused on an exposure visit to IIT Delhi – one of India’s leading incubators to get a working knowledge of the Indian startup ecosystem. The program was concluded with an excursion to Dilli Haat to showcase the cultural realms of Delhi.
