I met my Co-founder through friend of friend at the time of Lockdown. By that time everyone was working from home & that time gave boost to a large number of people to start something on their own instead of depending on one income source. Amulak had a vast experience of 11 years in Photography industry while having National Photography Award. And I (Yashika), had a well experience in different profiles like HR, Sales, Marketing & Operations through my previous working experiences. Amulak had a vision to solve problem which he himself faced as a photographer & after talking to many photographers regarding the same, we found out that 90% of photographers are facing similar issue in their business. That time, I left my job & we both started working together with a vision to Organize the Photography industry. After a year (from Dec'20 to Dec'21), having enough data of POC, we registered our company as Pvt Ltd & started the journey. We have our Head office in Gurgaon with a workforce of 15-20 people & have generated 70lac+ revenue in last 2.5 years since incorporation.
Photographers have various weddings to shoot in a month and they are not able to provide wedding albums to their client on time and the reason behind this is wedding photography sector is totally unorganized.
Designoo is taking step ahead to make it organize. The solution to the problem is providing them Album Designs on time which is within 5-7 days after receiving the order from photographer so that we can freely shoot his next project.
Currently we provide 2 types of services-
1. Album Designing & Printing - We work closely finding out the immediate family and friends according to which we create album designs by putting them into bigger frames. We have multiple type of Designs to choose from. Then focusing on taste of the customer related to designs, we convert their images in a design. After confirmation from Photographer, we start printing process with our vendor & get it delivered to their doorstep.
2. Image editing - Includes two type of Image editing. One is basic color correction to enhance the colors of raw clicked footage from the cameras and second is color grading, which is necessity of Photographer to showcase on their social media accounts. Color grading means to add creativity & remove the negativity from the image.
Currently, we have more than 300 active clients who gave us recurring orders. Our clients are now able to focus on their marketing, shoot and customer satisfaction instead of putting time into hassle of sitting behind the computer for editing related work. Our clients are now able to generate more revenue than ever due to which in a loop we are getting more work and we are able to provide more employment to the society.
