Typof started with a vision to empower Artisan, where our co-founder, Dibhya, previously runs a saree brand but faces technical challenges for building her own site. She connected with another founder, Trilochan, and discussed her challenges while building her own brand. Trilochan comes up with the proposal if she can first onboard at least 10 such entrepreneurs who are facing the same challenges. With her connection, she onboarded up to 40 customers at first. After discussing this issue, both of us understood that it's not only 1 or 40 entrepreneurs who are facing this; there are many, and we decided to build a platform for all the non-techy people who can build their e-commerce websites with ease. We have currently onboarded 10,000+ sellers who have built their websites with us.
The problem addressed by Typof revolves around the challenges faced by businesses in establishing and managing their online presence through e-commerce. Some key aspects of this problem include:
