1 Early Stage Equity Funding

Benefit Details	KSUM is partnering with SEBI accredited Venture Capital Funds for the creation of corpus fund for supporting the emerging startups in the state. The Funds shall be investing in early stage startups with a ticket size of Rs. 25 lakhs – Rs. 200 lakhs.
Eligibility Criteria	Startups who are registered in Kerala Startups who are at early stage/who have a product & tracxn Technology based product start up from different sectors Startups from PAN India & who are ready to reregister in Kerala

2 Early Stage KSUM Seed Fund

Benefit Details	Govt. of Kerala has introduced the Seed Support scheme to provide financial assistance to startups to foster the formation and development of innovative, technology-based business enterprises that will stimulate the economy of the State of Kerala through venture creations, increased employment and leveraging of private investment. This scheme is implemented through Kerala Startup Mission, which is the nodal agency of Govt. of Kerala for startup related activities and schemes. The Seed Support System primarily supports the startups on the following: Product Development Testing & Trials Test Marketing Mentoring Professional consultancy (To attract professionals from leading industrial organisations and academcians from reputed educational institutions to work with small firms) IPR Issues Manpower for day to day operations

3 Entrepreneur Support Scheme

Benefit Details	Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has been actively initiating various programmes for developing the student Entrepreneurship in the State. Government of Kerala declared the 'start up policy' with an aim to accelerate the growth of student Entrepreneurs. KSUM being the nodal agency for implementing the Startup policy has come up with various schemes for the effective implementation of the policy. The schemes covers all broad areas from schools, colleges young entrepreneurs. The policy defines Incubator as Technology Business Incubator recognized either by the Central or State Government while ’Start Up’ as innovation based technology firm registered under the Companies Act and within 3 years of incorporation. Offerings are: Support for services to startups in legal & statutory compliances Secretarial Services (Company Incorporation and filing) Annual Accounts Preparation Preparation of Audited statements (Utilisation Certificate & Statement of Expenditure) Taxation Services (Registration/ Filing/Updations) EXIM/TAN/PAN/SEZ services Financial Plan & Projections Legal, IP & Client Agreements Patent, Trademarks & Copy rights Business Valuation & Investment Pattern Notary Services

4 Government as Marketplace

Benefit Details	Kerala Government, in its IT Policy 2017 has indicated Government’s intent to help the startups by becoming an early adoption market for startups. Kerala Startup Mission being the nodal agency for the startup in the state has been coordinating this by acting as a facilitator between the Government and the Startups. Offers Direct Procurement from Startup upto Rs 20 Lakhs Offers Limited Tender purchase provision upto Rs 100 Lakhs

Benefit Details	Innovation Grant scheme of Kerala Startup Mission provides financial assistance of up-to 12 lakhs to startups, entrepreneurs and students to help them convert their innovative ideas into full fledged ventures. Offerings are: Idea: Idea Grant will be primarily for Students for conversion of idea to prototype and is limited to Rs. 2 lakhs/idea Productization grant is to convert the prototype into a product and is limited to a maximum Rs. 7 lakhs/idea. Scaleup Grant helps startups with product revenue/investments to scale their business to next level, and is limited to maximum of Rs. 12 lakhs/idea. R & D Grant (coming soon) will be given to hardware or deep tech Startups with working prototype/ IP, which need to developed into a product through R&D and is limited to Rs. 30 lakhs/startup

7 Investor Cafe

Benefit Details	Investor café is an opportunity for startups looking for funds to connect with investors and get funded. Last Wednesdays of every month @ Integrated Startup Complex, Cochin. Meet investors and connect with VC firms & angel networks at Investor Café. Investor Café is a one to one speed dating for startups to raise funds. Angel networks and VCs from across India will be available at Kochi on Wednesday, last week every month.

9 Patent Support Scheme

10 Unique ID - Startup Recognition

11 Women Entrepreneurs

1 Alternate Investment Fund (Kerala Focused)
