Dr. Vanita Prasad - a scientist turned into an Entrepreneur, is a New Age Environmental Instrumentalist providing Biotech solutions. Having done her Ph.D. in Environmental Biotechnology and with her extensive experience of 28 years in waste bioremediation with various academic and Industrial institutions, she floated her own company REVY Environmental Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in 2017. She is leading this company as a Founder, Director and CTO. Her core expertise is in anaerobic digestion technology and innovation of customized Bio-cultures. She is a DBT - BIRAC – BIG & SPARSH Grantee. She holds various patents for specific innovations in the field of Waste management and Renewable energy and she herself and her company have won many awards and accolades at National and International forums for the work being recognized as Low energy, cost effective and sustainable solutions for waste/wastewater treatment. According to her, REVY as a firm is established with a vision to solve the global crisis of food, water, and energy and is committed to making our mother earth cleaner and greener. Her mission is to strive for innovation and provide economically feasible, eco-friendly & sustainable solutions to the world. The vision of the company is to encourage better waste management across the country by providing innovative technological solutions for Effective treatment of waste/wastewater along with Energy and Nutrients to keep India clean and Energy surplus in a sustainable manner.

REVY's innovation of designer Bio-culture and their growth enhancement solutions will help to reduce downtime for Bio-methane plants which in turn will help to solve the global crisis of food, water and energy and aid in the reduction of total global carbon footprint. To support this product application and to create a better user experience we have developed an App which helps us in tracking day to day-to-day performance of these biologicals’ reactors remotely.

REVY has developed “Designer Bio-culture” using IP protected combinations of bacteria/other microorganisms in the form of 'Anaerobic Granulated Sludge – containing 650 different microbes of which 25-30% are methanogens.' and 'Biomass Growth Enhancement Formulations (BGEF)' that can treat organic waste/wastewater. We have also developed unique consortia for converting organic waste to Bio-Hydrogen. And also bio-cultures which can treat hard effluents like petroleum, chemicals, dyes, etc. and hence convert waste into reusable products such as Bio-methane and Bio-Energy. The company has also developed an app called R-EMAPP, which can help monitor the health of these microbes inside the reactor remotely on a day-to-day basis.

Our solution provides a sustainable solution for water management thereby supporting SDG goal 6. Provides enhanced biogas thus supporting SDG 7. The solution from REVY also addresses the twin-edged problem of managing wastewater as well as the organic fraction of municipal solid waste altogether in a single set-up, thereby helping make smart cities smarter in terms of their waste management capabilities. Hence, Our Solution can help achieve SDG goals 6, 7, 11 and 13. Our Technological solutions help in a significant reduction in carbon footprint. 1.
