नोट:

i. An entity shall cease to be a Startup on the completion of:

    1. Ten years from the date of its incorporation/registration in case of a non-DeepTech startup, or

    2.Twenty years from the date of its incorporation/registration in case of a DeepTech startup, or if the turnover of the entity for any of the financial years since incorporation/registration   exceeds: 200 crore in case of a non-DeepTech startup, or 300 crore in case of a DeepTech startup.

ii. Turnover shall be as defined under the Companies Act, 2013, or the applicable law governing the entity, as the case may be. REVOCATION: Subsequently, if such recognition is found to have been obtained without uploading the relevant documents or on the basis of false information, DPIIT reserves the right to revoke the Startup Recognition certificate and the certificate for tax benefits of an eligible business immediately without any prior notice. *
