Startup India Yatra is organised under the Startup India initiative of the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP) with an aim to scout grass root level entrepreneurs in the smaller towns of India. Start-up India in collaboration with SingEx Private Ltd and Planning Department is organising this Yatra in Manipur from 7th to 13th January 2019. Today on 7th January 2019, we are flagging of this Yatra Van in Manipur, which will cover several destinations; Institutes, collages and University in Manipur; MTU, MIT, NIT, CAU, NIELIT, MU, IGNTU, IIIT, Lamka College of Churachandpur and Maram College of Senapati District. This Yatra will provide a platform for budding entrepreneurs to realize their Start-up dream by getting incubated at excellent facilities and taking their idea to the next level. This mobile Van will be traveling around the State with the following objective:

The day long boot camp in each city will include presentations on Startup India and Policies & Schemes of the Manipur Government, followed by an extensive ideation workshop.
An idea pitching session will be held after each boot camp to select the foremost ideas and Startups for the Grand Finale.
